Antique Auctions

Our regular antique auctions offer the widest variety of items ranging in value, from ten pounds to several thousand. These auctions are held on Saturdays at 10am. The type of objects that are offered cover all the disciplines in the world of antiques and collecting and excellent prices are achieved by mailing out to our extensive database of local and national buyers. Collectors Auctions

Our collector’s auctions have been built up over numerous years, and were instigated due to the increasing demand from customers keen to add to their various collections. We offer online bidding at our three collector’s auctions each year catering for collectors and specialist dealers in the fields of toys, games, postcards, cigarette cards, books, stamps, coins etc. Please click for more details

Vintage and Classic Car, Motorbike and Automobilia Auction

These specialist auctions were introduced after the success of selling Automobilia and early enamel advertising signs in the collectors sales. Vintage and Classic cars are a particular passion of Auctioneer Richard Edmonds, who even owns a 1923 Vauxhall himself. House Sales and On - Site Dispersal Auctions

We have held a number of such sales over the years, from the contents of Jaggards House, Neston Wiltshire to several Garage businesses, retiring and wishing to auction the remaining equipment. For all these types of sales we have databases of buyers who have this specific interest, and large numbers of bidders are always attracted from far and wide. We have consultants available to assist our usual team where needed.

The Chippenham Auction Rooms would very much like to sell your items and provide a very personal service for our clients throughout the entire auction process. Depending on your location and the quantity/quality of items, one of our staff can come and visit you at your property to value items, or alternatively you may bring them to us by appointment for a free verbal valuation.

When your items are entered for sale you will be given a receipt for your goods. Following this we will then research where necessary and fully catalogue the lots, entering them into whichever auction is most appropriate. Shortly prior to the auction you will receive a pre-sale advice detailing your items, their estimates and reserves.
